Texas sues Anzu over alleged DJI drone deception
Bombshell: Texas AG Ken Paxton sued Anzu Robotics, alleging its Raptor T is “essentially a DJI Mavic 3 painted green.” The suit says the hardware matches Mavic 3, firmware is signed with DJI keys, the controller is a relabeled RC Pro, and DJI may hold root keys. Paxton calls it a “21st‑century Trojan horse,” seeks injunctions and civil penalties (up to $10,000 per violation) — a ruling could force agencies to halt Anzu buys and reshape procurement rules.
